Bangalore District BaseBall Association
Bangalore District Baseball Association (BDBA) was formed by a group of young passionate baseball players in order to develop the sport, baseball in Bangalore. In 2017, with a vision to promote Baseball in Bangalore, we started an association which can be a foundation to the game of Baseball in Bangalore. We are affiliated with the Baseball Association of Karnataka (BAK) which is the governing body in Karnataka.
In the span of 4 years, in spite of 2 year of backlog due to pandemic, BDBA has been actively involved in promoting Baseball in Bangalore, below are a few lists of activities that we have been able to conduct:
● 8 active clubs have been registered/affiliated under BDBA, nearly a total of 160 players have been registered under the club's section. All the clubs and players have been registered under a unique identification number.
● 16 colleges have been actively playing the sport, namely colleges under these Universities, Bangalore University, Visvesvaraya Technological University and Jain University under BDBA.
● We have been actively involved in conducting State camps, Club tournaments, College tournaments and school tournaments in all age groups and also encouraging clubs and institutions by providing equipment and trained coaches in order to build their team.
● Bangalore Baseball Academy (BBA) was formed under BDBA in order to conduct an elite camp on Sundays for players at BSNL, Grounds Jayanagar.

“Our goal is to make Bangalore a hub for Baseball. BDBA’s primary focus is to develop the game at grass-root level. To adapt a baseball culture in schools, colleges, clubs and bring baseball driven culture in the society and provide an opportunity to all the players across Bangalore to showcase their talent

To promote the game of Baseball by providing various opportunities and by organizing league tournaments in a statistical manner. Encouraging the passion for the game of baseball by involving institutions, society, present & former players.
